How the stat tracker works

1. Snapshot stats per chapter

   Unlike a single inventory entry, stats take a snapshot each chapter, because their values change independently. Chapter 3 and chapter 30 can hold entirely different numbers.

2. Watch the progression

   The tracker lays out how each stat moves over the story, so a level-up that should raise three attributes actually shows all three going up.

3. Check against the prose

   Run a continuity sweep and Clifford flags where a stat in the text disagrees with the tracked value, catching the arithmetic slips readers love to point out.

Stats, skills, and loot together

Why snapshot stats per chapter instead of once?

Because stats change on their own schedule. Inventory is gained and lost at points in time; stats can shift every chapter. Per-chapter snapshots capture that without forcing you to model every change as an event.

Can it track custom stats?

Yes. Define the attributes your system uses, whatever they are called, and track them chapter by chapter next to skills and inventory.

Does it cover a whole series?
